Madre Brava has announced two senior hires to drive our work in Spain and Germany.

Our new Spain Director, Zinnia Quirós, will launch our work in the country.

A born campaigner, Zinnia is a lawyer and economist who began her career in consulting before moving into the social sector. Since then, she has spent nearly two decades leading public campaigns, advocacy processes, and complex programmes across different NGOs, mostly at Oxfam.

Just before joining Madre Brava, Zinnia led the Tax the Super Rich campaign at Oxfam International, building a global coalition of more than 60 organisations and platforms.

From Davos to the G20, she has helped shape bold narratives, mobilise people at scale, and build powerful alliances to shift public debate on inequality and tax justice.

Zinnia says: "Madre Brava has an extraordinary team, an organisational culture that I'm excited about, and a clear mission: to make 100% of the food we eat healthy, sustainable, and affordable for everyone.

"I start with a great desire to give it my all and with a new obsession unlocked: the impact of what we eat on our health and that of the planet."

Moritz Möller joins us as Germany Director after several years as CMO and Executive Board Member at Veganz (now Planethic Group AG) where he shifted the cultural needle for plant-based food in Germany.

He spearheaded the strategic communication for a €47.6M IPO, and ensured that one in three Germans became familiar with the Veganz brand. Beyond growth, he focused on deep impact, improving ESG performance and transparency and ensuring the company’s carbon footprint decreased faster than its expansion.

An award-winning innovator, Moritz blends creative storytelling with rigorous data science. He is driven by the belief that the food system is the most critical lever for ecological health.

Moritz says: "I believe plant based proteins are the biggest personal driver to a more sustainable planet.

"As Germany Director for Madre Brava, I'll work to ensure that German supermarkets successfully offer a wider selection of plant-based foods, enabling German consumers to choose a healthy and environmentally friendly diet."
